2010 Continue fitting out

The stairs had to come out to lay floor under them, Tilly looks on bemused and would like to get in the way under my feet. For two days she had to suffer the indignity of being carried up the ladder for walks. She does put up with a lot. The reflective strips on my overalls always reflect a camera flash so I tried to cover the patches up but it didn't work. In this case I am far enough away from the camera for it to get a good picture anyway. |

With the stairs back in Lorna sweeps a section clean so we can lay protective sheets of plywood over the oak. We will try not to damage this floor while work continues over it. We neglected to do this with the soft pine floor further forward and regretted it. |

The next stage is to get the first fit electrics in, so positions of light switches and sockets have to be decided and measured. There seems to be so much wiring in a modern home! Then there are the PC and media wires, should we go wireless or put a network in? |

The first panel with a curving wall (boat's side) double socket cut in and slot cut for the steel knee. No two panels are the same of course. |
